Jeff Rimmer
DirectorJeff has worked in the asset finance industry for 40 years, starting his career at North West Securities, part of the Bank of Scotland Group. Since then he has worked his way up through many finance companies across the North West. In 2010 Jeff set up Finance For Business UK Ltd, with the aim to provide a personal service to the client developing partnerships and relationships.
Jeff is a passionate music lover who spends his free time playing the flute as a member of over five local orchestras. However, Jeff’s involvement in music goes beyond playing the flute. He is also a skilled orchestral conductor who takes great pleasure in guiding his orchestra through beautiful pieces of music. Additionally, Jeff is a devoted LFC fan and holds a season ticket along with his son, Chris.
Chris Rimmer
DirectorChris has worked in the finance industry since 2012, initially building his knowledge working directly for large multi-national funders out of their Liverpool and Manchester offices. Chris decided to join the family business at Finance For Business in 2020, and has helped to diversify their offering into new finance markets.
With a bachelor’s degree in Classical Music, Chris shares his dad’s passion for music. For years now, he has played in bands and performed with local theatre groups. His passion for performing began at a young age, performing in many shows in Southport, he even recently received the Best Male Lead in a Musical award. When he’s not making music, Chris can be found cheering on LFC at the match with his dad, Jeff.
Rio Ball
Business Development ManagerRio joined Finance For Business in 2022 as our Business Development Manager. Rio is dynamic and results-driven with a proven track record of driving growth and delivering strategic partnerships. His passion for building strong client relationships and his in-depth knowledge of the financial landscape make him an asset to our team. He prides himself on his ability to understand the unique needs of each client and tailor financing solutions that meet their specific goals and objectives.
Outside of work, Rio enjoys staying active by regularly attending the gym. He also is an avid supporter of Manchester City FC (much to Jeff and Chris’ disappointment). He is always eager to connect with new clients and help them navigate the world of finance with confidence and ease.
Anthony Harwood
Officer ManagerMeet Ant, our dedicated Office Manager at Finance For Business. Ant plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at our office, managing files, creating documents, manning the phones and providing invaluable support to our director, Jeff. Ant has worked with Jeff since the incorporation of Finance For Business in 2010 and is an integral part of the culture we have created.
When he’s not busy keeping our office running smoothly, Ant enjoys spending his spare time out on the golf course. Ant follows his hometown football club, Blackburn Rovers. On a Monday morning whilst the rest of the office are dissecting the weekends results, he still likes to remind everyone that they too have won a premier league medal.
Phoebe Hill
Marketing ManagerPhoebe is a seasoned marketing professional with a passion for driving growth and increasing brand awareness. In her role at Finance For Business, Phoebe is responsible for developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. With her drive, determination, and proven track record of success, Phoebe is an invaluable asset to the Finance For Business team.
In her spare time, Phoebe partakes in musical theatre along with her local theatre company, and also sits on their committee as Marketing Officer. Phoebe has now been in over 10 musicals, winning a NODA award for Best Leading Female in a Musical. When she’s not singing, acting or dancing, you will find her on long walks with Luna or house renovating with Chris.
Luna Rimmer-Hill
Chief Happiness OfficerLuna joined us at just 4 months old and has thrived as our fluffy and lovable Chief Happiness Officer, bringing joy and smiles to everyone she meets.
Luna’s main responsibilities at Finance For Business include boosting morale, reducing stress, and creating a pawsitive work environment for all employees. Whether she’s greeting guests at the office door or snuggling up to us during a busy workday, Luna’s presence never fails to bring a sense of calm and happiness to the workplace.
You may spot her zooming around during brainstorming sessions or eagerly supervising lunch breaks, reminding us all to take a moment to appreciate the simple joys life brings (like belly rubs!). We look forward to many more years of tail wags and smiles with Luna by our side.
